Concerned about command prompt on startup

For the past few months, upon starting up my laptop, I’ll see 2-4 command prompt windows open and close quickly. This doesn’t happen all the time, I’d say it happens 1 out of 10 startups. I did manage to record it once and the titles of the cmds were just a single period. I’m very safe with my pc, it’s never had malware before and I regularly scan with Defender and Hitmanpro. I have looked at my startup apps and it’s only a few essential apps enabled. I know there are programs like event viewer and task scheduler to see what exactly is going on in the background but I’m not good with computers and honestly I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be looking for in there. While I haven’t had any problems with my pc or indications of malware, I’m pretty paranoid because I do important things on my computer and would like to know if there were a surefire way to see what causes this.
